The Inspector General and Attorney General File Suit Against Three Former State Troopers to Recover Unearned Pay

The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and the Office of the Attorney General (AGO) filed suit on March 14, 2022, against three former Massachusetts State Police (MSP) troopers to recoup over $44,000 they received for unworked overtime.

A Study of Improper Motor Vehicle Registrations

During the course of this review, investigators from the OIG were able to substantiate that most of the individuals whose motor vehicles were improperly registered out of state, or in another city or town, had made statements of fact that confirmed their residency in Massachusetts.
