Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) FormA local jurisdiction that wishes to use Chapter 30B’s request for proposals (RFP) process must appoint a CPO to oversee procurements of more than $50,000. Section 19 of Chapter 30B authorizes a local governmental body’s CPO to delegate their procurement powers and duties. CPO delegations should be made to a position(s)/job title(s) (e.g., library director or school business manager) and not to an individual employee. This CPO delegation may be specific or limited. All new CPO delegations must be filed with the OIG. Delegations do not take effect until filed with the OIG.Fill out Form
