Former Stow Treasurer Pleads Guilty to Embezzlement

Former Stow Treasurers Pamela Landry pleaded guilty to embezzlement charges.

Concord, MA — On September 20, 2023, Pamela Landry appeared in Concord District Court to resolve the embezzlement case against her.  The Commonwealth and the Defendant tendered a disparate plea, in which the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office recommended a guilty finding, and the defendant sought a continuation without a finding.Judge Lynn C. Brendemuehl adopted the defense’s requestand continued the case without a finding for 18 months.

The plea was for the following charges:

  • LARCENY OVER $250 BY SINGLE SCHEME c266 §30(1);
  • FALSE CLAIM TO GOVERNMENT AGENCY c266 §67B;
  • FORGERY OF CHECK c267 §1; and
  • UTTER FALSE CHECK c267 §5.

The defendant was ordered to:

  • Undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with any follow up; and
  • Not be employed in financial field or with vulnerable populations (elderly, disabled, children) or positions of public trust.
